I wanted to add this picture so I can "pin" it.  It is States and Capitals practice and test.

Inspiration

Reading a friend's blog recently has inspired me to try again.  It's been almost two years since I have posted, so I don't think I will try to catch up.
Scott slept last night from 9-4.  Liz woke up at 11:30 because Zoe was lost in her bed.  At least that was easy.
Alli took her second AR test this morning and got a 100%.  Now she is up to 1 point!
We took the van for an oil change, brake check, CD player issue, and asked to have it back by 2 or else...
1) I could stay home and Alli could drive back. or 2) We could leave a kid at home.  Neither sounded like a good option.  The car felt very full this morning with Richard, Liz, Scott, and I in it, I don't think we could fit 5 of us in it.

The Days After Christmas

Well, As much as we looked forward to Christmas, I am glad life is back to "normal."
We had a beautiful Christmas filled with great gifts, quality time with both sets of grandparents and cousins.
Alli had originally asked Santa for a real microwave and white milk and chocolate milk for her babies. Thank goodness he found one. Although, she did change her request to "everything" with a little prompting from Kaylan! Santa also brought a Smartcycle that Alli has played with every day.
Liz was just happy to be here...most of the time. Santa brought her her own babies--twins. She loves her babies, her doll stroller, and her mega blocks.

We tried to emphasize that Christmas was about God showing his love to us through His gift of Jesus, but even though she could tell us that, I think she was more interested in presents than love.

So Alli thinks her Daddy should be home every morning when she gets up, and Liz looks around for her Bompa every day.

Memorial Day Weekend

Alli and Liz went to visit Gramma and Bompa this weekend. Liz will patty-cake now and has 8 full teeth. Alli asked Bompa how he broke his arm when he was a kid, and when he told her he feel out of a tree she said oh, Bompa are you a monkey? hehe

May 22

Since I don't know where to start, I will just start with this: This morning Alli asked me to "please adjust her shoes because they are too tight."
We went to Holiday World today and had a great time in Splashin Safari. Alli liked the lazy river the best, and Liz was just happy to be there.
